Whatever you call it, camping in a tow-along “house” is really awesome. We bought a new Travel Trailer, Trager Trailer, after a very intense and drawn out cost/ benefit analysis.
And a supply and demand analysis.
And soul searching about leaving a family legacy and childhood memories.
And then a crazy search for the right vehicle to pull the Trager Mobile. I’m glad Brian (aka: most thorough person in town) got that all out of the way last summer so we can just camp….glamp…this season.
Life is easier with running water to wash chocolaty smores off.
And cozy old quilts from estate sales.
And a refrigerator to keep Diet Coke cold.
And a kitchen table to play UNO when it’s pouring outside.
And an electrical outlet to run my vacuum. (really)
Heated mattresses for when it’s cold and air conditioning for when it’s hot.
It’s nicer than we need; It’s my home sweet home, away from home. This is how we camp, Trager style. Our little family fits just right into the Hotel On Wheels, Camping Cottage, travel trailer….what in the world should we call this thing?
At Hamlin Beach, NY one of our favorite spots from last year. Beautiful state park close to home, which meant friends and family were able to join us for campfire cooked meals and warm days at the beach making sandcastles.
I think these sunny days are getting you pretty excited. Happy for you all.
