Come thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace…..
One of my favorite hymns was stuck in my head one day, and I decided to get it out of my head and onto something where it would be visible.
I printed out the lyrics on my Silhouette machine and placed them on this window from ReHouse. Actually, I think it was once a glass cupboard door. There was a hole on one side where I think the knob was originally. I drilled a second hole so I could thread some pretty fabric through to hang the art. I sanded the frame a bit , added some sweet birds and smiled. Tune my heart, change my focus, sing, sing, SING!
The pretty fabric was originally on a dress that I refashioned a couple years back. While I was cutting the dress up, I took off the ties and saved them. The fabric is so pretty, and adds a fun pattern to the blue and white of this project. I love when my refashion scraps collide with my salvage projects! It’s beautiful to see pieces of junk joined together into something beautiful…..
