Things Heard Around my House: December 2014

January 1, 2015 By: Amy Trager1 Comment

Joshua tattling on his little sis, “Kaylee kicked me in the crotch, slapped my face and then hugged me to death!”

After a coughing fit, Joshua said “I don’t think I should go over to Grandpa’s house today.  I don’t want to spread my diseases.”

When Joshua pointed out the leaky spot in the air mattress, Brian said “That’s a small hole.”

Joshua replied, “Yes it is small but DEADLY.”

Kaylee and Daddy

Kaylee made a beautiful watercolor picture on Daddy’s Surface.

Driving near Lake Erie on snowy I-90, Brian said, “They should change the saying to “Get the heck out of Buffalo.”

I asked what Grace planned to order at our favorite restaurant, Bob Evans:  Pancakes and Mashed Potatoes!

(She has done that twice now, which is such a carb fest for a little tummy!)

candy house demolition

The demolition of a candy house is more than half the fun.

“You are so nice to me”, I whispered after Grace walked on my back, massaged my neck and scratched my back.  “Well,” she replied.  “You are nice to me, so I’m nice to you!  Anytime you need me, I will do it for you!”

Weighted Blanket for my sis

Last year, my sister mentioned that she wanted a weighted blanket, like the ones doctors recommend to people with autism, anxiety or insomnia.  She’s always loved blankets (me too) and those heavy corn/ rice packs that can be warmed up in the microwave (me too).   Knowing that her birthday was coming up, I looked at buying […]
